Michael J. Bodell, Sr.

Chairman/Director

Mr. Bodell is responsible for the overall corporate management of the company. His intense management focus and 50 years of practice has made Bodell Construction Company one of the most experienced and financially stable general contractors in the Intermountain and Hawaii regions. He also has over ten years of experience in developing real estate properties in several western states.

Jeff Hopkins

Project Director

Mr. Hopkins has more than 30 years of industry experience and has a strong background in all aspects of construction, including survey and site layout, mechanical & structural layout, project scheduling, cost accounting & estimating, and site management. Through his successful involvement in these various aspects of construction, Jeff has become a peak performer in the industrial construction industry and is a valuable addition to the Bodell team. As Project Director, Jeff assures that the quality of the work meets or exceeds the project's contractual requirements, and maintains the standard of excellence established by the Owner.

Sean Davis

CEO/President

Mr. Davis is responsible for daily operations including strategic planning for growth, and the execution of both short and long term growth initiatives. He ensures the Bodell team has the proper direction, support, and allocation of resources to meet its Clients evolving needs. Mr. Davis has over 30 years of experience serving the construction industry with expertise in developing viable and cost-effective solutions while maintaining budgets and promoting safe and productive work sites.
Todd Ripley

Todd Ripley

Project Director - Industrial

Mr. Ripley has over 25 years of expertise in the oil, gas, mining, and energy industries. At Bodell Construction he serves as Director of Projects overseeing project management teams from procurement and resource allocation through safe and successful project startup. Prior to Bodell, Mr. Ripley spent nearly 20 years as the Turnaround and Construction Manager at the Chevron refinery in North Salt Lake, Utah. His extensive experience managing contractors from an Owner’s operation paired with his dedication to safe work environment, quality control and motivational managerial style results in an unparalleled partner for our client’s construction needs. Providing a safe work culture is a core value of Mr. Ripley's history and credence. Risk mitigation and injury prevention is one of the top measures of success on each project.

Jeff Covalt

Vice President of Operations

As the VP of Operations, Mr. Covalt oversees, plans, and directs the operations of the company to maximize operating results by ensuring accountability throughout the company. Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures in order to reach organizational goals. Takes on construction management duties when necessary. Ensures that all employees receive training from their supervisors. Ensures proper budgeting and job cost tracking is being performed by the Estimating and Operation Teams.
