We are teamed as a key subcontractor with CTI Construction who will be performing the building construction and the electrical and communication systems.
Bodell’s self-perform work encompasses replacing and upgrading the aged and deteriorated fuel facilities with tank remodels, truck fill stands, product recovery tank, GPM pumps, filter separators, truck offload skids, new pump house with equipment and piping, all to meet the latest DoD standards. In addition, our mechanical scope includes 7,800 linear feet of existing pipe, supports for demolition and 11,900 linear feet of new piping, supports, fittings, and valves.
Start-up, commissioning and turnover will be in connection with various mission critical activities for our local Air Force. With this new hydrant fuel system opens the way to increased efficiency resulting in reduced aircraft turn times and increased combat readiness for F-35 aircraft (stealth fighters). We are excited about getting started on this one because it will keep some of our Utah resident crews closer to home who have been traveling the last few years and allow more time with families.
