This project includes: A building addition to house a turbine Solar Titan 130 and new mechanical and electrical equipment. In addition, modifications have been made to the existing structure in order to house the Heat Return Unit and a new control room. The scope also includes additions to the campus electrical distribution system and the north, south and west substations. The new facility provides heating and cooling capabilities for the campus offsetting 30 to 50 percent of campus’s current electrical needs, all without burning coal.
