This project consists of the conversion and expansion of the existing 2 million gallon per day (MGD) Waimea Water Treatment Plant using conventional water filtration processes to a 4 MGD membrane filtration plant and related improvements.
Scope of work included: above ground process piping installations, excavation and underground piping installations/backfill, erection of membrane process building; new emergency generator installation, filtration and process equipment setting, structural steel supports. Subcontracted work included demolition with associated site work, paving, drainage, walkways, fencing, electrical and instrumentation, HVAC, and finish painting.
